Interaction Session on ”Emotional & Mental Well-being”

Posted in Recent Programs

The follow up session was an intense discussion as each participant shared their opinion and queries about mental health with most also sharing personal stories of experience of various problems. A wonderful space was created collectively, where people could open up and safely share what disturbs them, without fear of judgement. We battled with ideas like how do we expect to have a good mental health when the world around us is violent? How do we deal with and how are we affected by the dominant narratives/discourse in the society? Can we have human development with mental health? Patriarchal structures and Family are key to the youth’s problems. How does technology fit into all of this? Such questions were discussed and many more.
