संवाद on “Safe and Fear Free Access to Public Spaces” with Jasmeen Patheja

The 18th edition of Samvad on Saturday 24th November began with a music performance of some songs on the MeToo movement and women empowerment. We talked about safety and our experience in the public space with a presentation on various methods of reclaiming public space. Do we really think whether they are safe and inclusive for all? Can we access our public spaces without any fear at any time? We did an exercise – writing down what we think when we hear the word public space. Learning about our notions and perceptions about it. We talked about solutions and what each of us feels at the end of the session.
