A big part of Olakh’s issue based resource centre is the poster archive.
These posters have been collected from various women’s groups and Organizations from all over India. Most of the posters are the outcome of a collective political process in which community members, activists, students, and/or survivors brainstorm together to translate a deep social concern into words and images. These Posters were designed and produced or arised out of different workshops or during campaigns and protests. It is a very creative way to transport feminist thoughts to a wider public. The University of Wisconsin in the USA, in detail the Center for South Asia and the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies organized the posters in a digital archive.
