संवाद on “Understanding Masculinity” with Anand Pawar
The session with Anand Pawar on Understanding Masculinity was conducted on 8th July 2017. We experienced a very surprising weather change on that day. He wishes for men to experience a love that is willingly shared rather than the one that is forced out of someone out of fear.
Anand initiated the dialogue with a strong statement, “Personal is Political”. He argued that men generally talk about business, Sensex and game night, they do not engage in conversations concerning equality, rights and freedom, peace and conflict. These are currently pressing issue within our society. They affect each one of us personally and are very much political in nature.
It was a powerful message and the audience unanimously supported his message.
